All parents have been sent an email from ESF with instructions to install and connect the new ESF HUB App and Web portal
It is important to do this as soon as possible. All our communications and functions connected to your child will happen through the portal. You can set up the portal as an app on your device or access it through a browser (or both).
If you cannot see the email from ESF titled “ESF Hub PArent Portal Key registration”, please check your spam folder. If you require help with the process or cannot find the email, contact our helpdesk helpdesk@kgv.edu.hk
Some parents were having trouble with the initial setup of the app. It walks you through a data check on first use. Many of these fields are mandatory and the system will not let you proceed unless they are filled in. So, this step may take some time.
The portal supports many functions - tap the “Guide Me” button to get help using the various functions. For example, how to submit an advanced absence notice for your child.
Students in Y7,8,9,10 and 12 will be using new learning systems this year and some of the data from these new systems will be available from the “Learning” button in the new portal.
If your child is in Year 11 or Year 13, they will continue to use Lionel and Google classroom this year since they are halfway through their courses already. If you click the “Learning” button in the new portal, you’ll get a message saying your child does not have an account. That will be the only difference for students in Y11 and 13.
