英皇佐治五世學校的社群通過各種豐富多樣的活動蓬勃發展，這些活動讓學生、家庭和周圍的人們積極參與。從培養團隊精神和學校凝聚力的院際比賽到社區活動，我們創造有意義的體驗來促進歸屬感。

Speech Day

Speech Day is our formal annual ceremony dedicated to celebrating the outstanding achievements and hard work of our students. The event features keynote addresses from distinguished members of our community, providing inspiration as we honor academic, sporting, and creative successes across the school. The video being shown is from our previous Speech Night which was included in our 130th Anniversary celebrations and we called this week ROAR Week.

Sports Day

Sports Day is the pinnacle of KGV’s athletic calendar, where students compete in a wide range of track and field events. It is a day defined by personal bests and intense house competition, as students from Nightingale, Rowell, Upsdell, and Crozier strive to earn points and demonstrate elite sportsmanship.

Swimming Gala

The KGV Swimming Gala is an action-packed day of aquatic competition and school spirit. Students from all four houses dive into the pool to compete for individual glory and house points, showcasing athleticism, teamwork, and cheering that can be heard across the entire campus.

Lunar New Year Celebrations

Our Chinese New Year Celebrations honor tradition through a spectacular school-wide assembly. The event features a dynamic Dragon Dance, student-led musical and dance performances, and insightful speeches that celebrate the heritage and spirit of the Lunar New Year within the KGV community.

Winter Festival

The Winter Festival is our premier community event, bringing together ESF Primary school choirs and KGV student performers for an evening of music and talent. The campus transforms into a vibrant hub featuring student-led stalls, interactive games and activities, and a curated selection of external vendors and companies.

Challenge Week

Challenge Week is KGV’s dedicated time for immersive, non-traditional learning. Students venture across Hong Kong or abroad to engage in unique off-campus experiences (and occasionally specialized on-campus tracks) designed to build character, skills, and new perspectives outside the standard curriculum.

Evening of Music and Dance (EOMD)

Evening of Music and Dance is a spectacular celebration of student talent and school spirit. The highlight of the night features our four houses—Nightingale, Rowell, Upsdell, and Crozier—competing in massive, themed performances that blend choreography, music, and creative storytelling.

Lion Rock

Lion Rock is one of our signature musical event—it’s more than just a "Battle of the Bands." It is a dedicated platform for student musicians to perform, collaborate, and celebrate music as a whole, focusing on creative expression and live performance.

Kindness Week

Kindness Week is dedicated to student mental health and wellbeing at KGV. Through a variety of uplifting activities—ranging from wellness workshops to surprise appearances by our giant heart mascots—we focus on fostering a supportive community, reducing stress, and celebrating the power of small acts of kindness.
